Marantz Distinguished Alumni Lectureship Award

Dr. Kenneth Marantz, for whom the award is named
The Marantz Distinguished Alumni Lecture Award was created in 1984 by graduate students within the Department of Arts Administration, Education and Policy, with the support of Dr. Kenneth Marantz. A fund, the Marantz Distinguished Alumni Lecture Fund, was later established in 1999 with gifts from Harold and Kenneth Marantz to honor a distinguished alumni of the program. This award creates an opportunity to foster exchange between current students and distinguished alumni and honors the scholarship and impact of the recipients, providing students with an opportunity to benefit from the experience and insight of one of their own. Each year, graduate students in the Department of Arts Adminsitration, Education and Policy select the awardee.
