Syracuse University will host the 2016 Graduate Research in Art Education conference on Friday October 28th and Saturday October 29th. The purpose of the Graduate Research in Art Education (GRAE) conference is to provide a forum for students from Penn State, The Ohio State University, Syracuse University, and Teachers College to discuss issues and developments in art education that are being opened up by current graduate student research.
The conference kicks off Friday with a reception beginning at 5:30 PM. From 6:00-6:30, respondents, Drs. Alice Pennisi, Laura Reeder, David Rufo, and Mary Ann Stankiewicz, will introduce themselves, followed by our keynote from Dr. Stankiewicz. Saturday, October 29, will be a full day (8:15AM-5PM) with a reception following the events.
The Ohio State University will be represented by doctoral students Kathleen Goodyear, Ahran Koo, and Stephen Morrow. As this event is free and open to the public, feel free to come out and support our Ohio State contingent!
