Barnett Speaker Series, Home Grown Pros, welcomes Dr. Connie DeJong
The Barnett Speaker Series 2018-2019 Home Grown Pros is proud to present AAEP alumna, world traveler, fair trade entrepreneur, educator and social activist Dr. Connie DeJong! Dr. DeJong will host a workshop titled Fair Trade, Artisan Made: From Raw to Awe! This workshop will walk through the process of product creation using hand felted wool beads from Bolivia and recycled glass beads from Ghana! Participants will have the chance to learn about the story of makers, designing, packaging, and exploring the creative process of product development and artisan stories. All are welcome!
