Planning for a City of Culture
Dr. Shoshanah Goldberg-Miller will give a lecture titled Planning for a City of Culture based on her book, Planning for a City of Culture: Toronto and New York. The book brings a new, fresh perspective to the study of creative cities by using policy theory as an underlying construct to understand the role of arts and culture in the transformation of Toronto and the revitalization of New York during the decade of the 2000s. The lecture, part of the Research Commons Faculty Forum Series, will be held Tuesday, March 21 from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Research Commons on the 3rd floor of the 18th Avenue Library.
