Betancourt will speak on "Engaging Latina/o Arts Audiences in Denver: Lessons Learned at the Denver Art Museum and Farther Afield," as related to her recent chapter publication in Multiculturalism in Art Museums Today. She will also present a preliminary analysis from her dissertation, which addresses experiences of subjectivity among Latina/o visitors to encyclopedic art museums in the United States.
