The department congratulates Dr. Ballengee Morris on the debut of her interactive Earth Works Rising website. Earth Works Rising utilizes art and earth works as a conceptual basis for understanding place and space in Native American cultures. This tool will further crucial publicity of our many Central Ohio earth works, and explores -- through an indigenous perspective -- stories and lore; the process of storytelling; night mapping; constellations; and naming people, places, and objects in relation to earth works.
