PhD student Ketal Patel receives inaugural Graduate Associate Leadership Award
PhD student Ketal Patel is one of three recipients across the university to receive the Graduate Associate Leadership Award (GALA), a new award developed with the understanding that graduate students, when seeking employment, often are asked about their leadership skills and previous experiences. The GALA recipients were chosen through nomination by their Department Chairs and/or Associate Deans as students participating in a leadership position both on and off campus, such as serving on a committee, or taking on other leadership responsibilities within one of several university administrative areas. Congratulations to Ketal!
