Lorna Americanhorse Jansheski is a music industry professional, and graduate student in the Department of Arts Administration, Education and Policy Masters Program, specializing in Museum Education and Administration. Currently, she is the Office Manager for music publishing company Beckenhorst Press, Inc., prior to that she was the Assistant Director for Bach to Rock Music School, and previously worked as Events Coordinator and Logistics Manager for music software company Muse.

Lorna was an oboe student of Scott Erickson (Paducah Symphony Orchestra) and Dwight Parry (Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra), she was also mentored by Dennis Johnson (world renowned conductor), and Paulo Calligopoulos (multi-instrumental soloist); she is a former Soloist of the Year recipient (KY 2013); and also former Oboe and Performance Masterclass Lecturer for Murray State University, and she was an oboe teacher with a private studio, and freelance orchestral musician and soloist in Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Lorna has worked in the music industry since 2009, in roles such as merchandise manager, stage manager, production manager, and artist manager to name a few; Working with artists and orchestras such as Newsboys, Big Daddy Weave, Francesca Battistelli, Chris August, Alexander Rybak, Gardens on Mars, Ethan Phillips, Kid Reverie, Carolina Crown, Paducah Symphony Orchestra, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. 

Fun Fact: Lorna is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, and is the great-great granddaughter of Chief American Horse.
