Luana Barcellos is a Master’s student in Arts Policy and Administration at The Ohio State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Brasília and has seven years of professional experience in Brazil’s cultural sector, working in cultural policy, arts administration, project management, and arts education. Throughout her career, she has led the design, management, and funding of artistic and cultural projects, provided strategic guidance on cultural initiatives, taught courses on cultural policy and project management, and collaborated with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and artists to advance cultural development and expand public access to the arts.
Her current interests focus on cultural policy, arts administration, and creative economy development, particularly how funding models, governance structures, and strategic management practices can advance the arts, strengthen cultural organizations, support creative communities, and promote sustainable cultural development.
Fun Fact: Luana loves traveling and exploring the world, discovering new cultures, traditions, and ways of life. She enjoys visiting new places, experiencing different perspectives, and creating meaningful memories along the way.
