Ayat Ibrahim is pursuing a Master's in Art Education. She received her Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a specialization in painting and drawing and a minor in Business at The Ohio State University. Her research uses art-based research to explore themes of immigration, decolonization, cultural production, identity, and belonging. Ayat has worked with Columbus College of Art and Design, Urban Arts Space, Baladna, Maroon Arts Group, and many other nonprofits in creating arts programming that is accessible, inclusive, and diverse. 

Fun fact: Ayat loves to crochet and knit. Her favorite project to make is a warm pair of socks.
