Education
- 2022, BFA, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
Jessica Lieber is pursuing her MA in the Arts Policy and Administration program. During her undergraduate career, she received her BFA focusing in historical and modern photographic techniques and the national archive to address concepts of mental health, the rejection of patriarchal societal norms and female empowerment. Blending both formal qualities and contemporary concepts, Lieber works with film and alternative camera-less photographic processes that involve manipulation of photographic chemistry and the use and misuse of organic materials. She operates a small portrait photography business and has a darkroom in her home where she creates chemigrams, cyanotypes, salt prints, and lumen prints.
Fun Facts: Jessica loves aquatic sports and free diving, restoring her vintage Japanese sport car, and foraging for wild edibles mushrooms and plants.
