Jordan Schwartz is co-founder and Producing Director of Fonseca Theatre Company (FTC) in Indianapolis, an organization dedicated to diverse representation and civic engagement. Prior to FTC, she worked with theatres across the country as a community organizer, teaching artist, administrator, dramaturg, literary manager, and visiting director. Schwartz received her MFA in Dramaturgy at Indiana University Bloomington in 2023. She also holds a MA in Arts Management from the University of Oregon and a BA in History from Bryn Mawr College. She is thrilled to be continuing her studies as a PhD Student in AAEP specializing in Cultural Policy. Schwartz was recognized as a 2017 Rising Leader of Color by Theatre Communications Group, as a 2019 Young Philanthropist Scholar by Impact 100 Indy, and was named a 22-23 Creative Renewal Arts Fellow by the Arts Council of Indianapolis. Most recently, she received a Seed Grant from OSU's Office of Outreach and Engagement to conduct  comparative research about the role of arts in community development in Indianapolis and Columbus.

Fun Fact: Jordan and her wife, Abby, are avid travelers. Recent adventures include London, Lisbon, and Mexico City!
