Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Yiran is a graduate student in the Arts Policy and Administration MA program with over a decade of experience in China’s performing arts and cultural tourism sectors. His research explores cultural policy, international cultural exchange, and evidence-based decision-making in arts organizations, with a focus on how social trends, economic transitions, and public policy shape the cultural sector’s strategic development.

Fun fact: Yiran enjoys doing left-and-right-brain-exercises, such as sitting down and patting left hand on left thigh while rubbing the right hand back and forth on the right thigh, then quickly switching sides (left hand rubbing, right hand patting). He can also move his ears for some reason.
