Yiran Zhao is a PhD student in the Arts Administration, Education and Policy program. He has eleven years of experience in production and operations management with international performing arts and cultural tourism organizations in China. His research examines the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of arts and cultural institutions as well as cultural policy evaluation. 

Fun fact: Yiran enjoys doing left-and-right-brain-exercises, such as sitting down and patting left hand on left thigh while rubbing the right hand back and forth on the right thigh, then quickly switching sides (left hand rubbing, right hand patting). He can also move his ears for some reason.
