Education

Maya Anderson is pursuing an MA in Arts Policy and Administration with a specialization in Museum Education and Administration. Maya earned her BA in Arts Management from The College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University. Though her focus is on the leadership of the creative industry, Maya also serves as a digital artist growing within the Columbus arts community. She continues to showcase her art at various creative events. She has utilized her digital design skills during her internship at Urban Strings Youth Orchestra as well as her internship at The Columbus Museum of Art.  

Maya's research interests focus on museum practices, particularly how technology merges with exhibition displays and audience engagement. She is also fascinated by the evolution of technology as it integrates into the art world. Maya would like to observe how technology is creating new opportunities for artistic expression, display, and art accessibility.

Fun Fact: Maya has been a violist since 4th grade
