Katie Harvey is a theatre educator, director, and administrator pursuing her MA in Arts Policy and Administration. She earned her BA in Arts Administration and BA in Theatre from The Ohio State University in 2022. In her years post-undergrad, Katie worked as the Assistant Education Director at Weathervane Playhouse, served as the Director and Administrator of the Perry Middle School theatre department, and production managed 3 seasons for Imagine Productions. In addition, she also works as a freelance director and intimacy coordinator. Katie’s research interests include advocating for accessible and abundant theatre education both within and outside of the public school setting, creating and sustaining creative communities in rural areas, and marketing the arts to increase community engagement.
