Polina is a PhD student in the Arts Administration, Education and Policy program with a concentration in Art Education. Polina is an artist and educator with experience in museums, schools, organizations, and universities. Most recently she taught visual art at an International Baccalaureate school in Arizona. Within her interdisciplinary art practice, Polina is interested in the relationship between memory and in-between spaces.

Fun fact: As part of an artist-residency, Polina spent a month living and working on a sailboat with other artists and researchers. They sailed from Portugal to the Azores Islands, where Polina got the opportunity to work with the community and complete a site-specific work of art on one of the islands.
