We offer rolling admissions. Students can apply for autumn or spring semester or summer term. 

The GRE is optional for the Online MA in Art Education.

Students can complete the program in three or six semesters. Those completing the program in three semesters are considered full-time and enroll in eight credit hours during the autumn and spring semesters and 14 credit hours during the summer term. Those completing the program in six semesters are considered part-time and enroll in four credit hours during the autumn and spring semesters and seven credit hours during the summer terms.

No. Many of our students are licensed teachers but this is not a requirement. Students can be art educators within the community, museums, or schools. It helps to have some background in arts teaching.

Students can complete the program in three semesters as a full-time student or six semesters as a part-time student.

Yes, courses are offered in a sequential order that students are required to follow.

The total cost estimate for Ohio residents is $23,065. The total cost estimate for non-Ohio residents is $23,100.

We do not offer financial aid. However, students can apply for grants, scholarships, and federal student aid. Sometimes teachers can apply for fee waivers through their school district.

No, our program does not lead to a teaching license.

Students in our program do not complete a thesis. Instead, they complete a non-thesis research project in which students implement and document practices and ideas they have learned in their MA Online classes in their own classroom or comparable context.
