Brian's work was chosen from among an international group of submissions to serve as the cover image for the World Health Organization's Annual Spinal Cord Injury publication: International Perspectives on Spinal Cord Injury. 

Brian's commentary: 

The image used for the World Health Organization's annual publication International Perspectives on Spinal Cord Injury is a charcoal / pen / ink drawing I created in my first university level art class. The piece is a graphic written response to the thoughts, ideas, struggles and successes that came throughout the year after I broke my back riding mountain bikes. I'm honored that the piece was chosen to exist with the dialogues of the WHO articles.
