AAEP is thrilled to announce the addition of Associate Professor Richard Fletcher to our department faculty. Dr. Fletcher's areas of expertise include contemporary art, philosophy of art, art thinking, the artist as teacher, and global exhibition and biennial culture. In 2014, Dr. Fletcher received one of the inaugural Ronald and Deborah Ratner Distinguished Teaching Awards in the Division of Arts and Humanities in the College of Arts and Sciences.

He will be teaching ARTEDUC 2367.03: Criticizing Television in autumn 2018, and ARTEDUC 7701: Contemporary Theory and Art Education in spring 2019.

Recently becoming a US citizen, Dr. Fletcher still loves cricket, Marmite and Billy Bragg.
