Arts Management major Emma Baranski sweeps solo, duet, and team titles at US Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships

The department congratulates Emma Baranski, arts management major '17 and varsity scholar-athlete on the OSU Women’s Synchronized Swimming team, for successfully defending her national solo synchro first place title for the second year in a row. At the US Colleagiate Synchro Championships, held at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavillion Saturday (March 24), Baranski also won the duet title with partner Elizabeth Davidson, and contributed to the OSU synchro team's 22-point victory over runner-up, Stanford University. Emma's dedication to synchronized swimming over the years parlays into her passion for dance and the arts. She will be the subject of an article in AAEP's 2017 annual newsletter, Chiaroscuro, due to be published early April, which highlights her work as an intern with the Paul Taylor American Modern Dance Company in New York City.
