The Department of Art Education is saddened to announce that Lawrence Barnett, Sr. has passed away at the age of 98.  Mr. Barnett was a leader in the entertainment industry and served on several boards for business and charitable organizations. Since 1993, the Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Fellowship Fund has provided tuition, fees, and an annual stipend for 37 graduate students studying Arts Policy & Administration at OSU. Mr. Barnett's legacy at OSU continues to grow as we look forward to our participation in developing the Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Center for Integrated Arts and Enterprise and the renovation of Sullivant Hall. We are forever grateful to Mr. Barnett for his commitment to the arts at OSU and the kindness and generosity he showed the Department of Art Education throughout the years.
