Former faculty member from the Department of Art Education, Georgianna (Sam) Short, PhD, Dublin, Ohio passed away July 12, 2015.

Dr. Short received her PhD from The Department of Art Education at The Ohio State University in 1995 and served as a faculty member in the Department from 1995 to 2009. Upon her retirement from The Ohio State University, Dr. Short was awarded the prestigious rank of Professor Emeritus, Faculty-Emeritus.

Sam leaves behind a legacy of educators who were influenced by her work, ideas, pedagogy, research, and writing.
