Luna Duan is a PhD student in Arts Administration, Education and Policy (AAEP) specializing in Cultural Policy and Arts Management. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the Central Conservatory of Music and her Master's degree in Arts Management from George Mason University. Previously, Luna worked at Rongbaozhai (荣宝斋, Studio of Glorious Treasures) in 2022 as an assistant in the painting and Calligraphy department. She is mainly responsible for the online auction business, acting as a reviewer of online auctions to introduce calligraphy and painting artworks to potential customers. Luna is not only interested in visual arts, she has a great passion and love for performing arts. Luna is a singer, dancer and actress. In 2014, she joined an entertainment company and became a member of the girl group MMD (萌萌哒天团). MMD is dedicated to the promotion of Chinese New Age folk music and traditional Chinese costumes. The group has released more than 100 songs, the song "Imperial Capital" has been viewed more than 1 billion times online, and all songs have been viewed more than 5 billion times on the Chinese Internet. In 2015, Luna received the Vocational Qualification Certificate: Advanced Skills in Film and Television Acting issued by the Cultural and Art Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China. She has worked as a musical actress in the Mahua Funage Production Company in China. Luna has been exploring a variety of career options in the arts. She has not only acted in various movies, TV series, variety shows and commercials, but also worked as a producer's assistant. 

Fun fact: Luna once drove through Lop Nur's no man's land, one of the China's four largest uninhabited area, with her friends.
