Education

  • 2004, BEd, University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada
  • 1981, MA, University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada
  • 1978, BA, University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Peter is a PhD student in the Arts Administration, Education and Policy Department. Originally from Canada, he received his BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Windsor, focusing on Political Theory, political party behavior and Canadian Foreign Policy.

After graduation he spent some years in the private sector, but returned to school and received his BEd in 2004. He has taught middle school for the past 18 years in the Toronto area, centering his teaching of Social Studies, Language Arts, and French as a Second Language, on exploring issues of social injustice. He modeled, encouraged, and was successful in prompting students to express their awareness of the world around them, and propose solutions to social injustice, through a variety of art media.

Of note, his 95 year old father, a lifelong and very vocal University of Michigan fan, has been spotted wearing OSU fan wear. Family bonds have evidently not been fractured.
